Hammer: We gave all the girls dancing
a questionnaire to fill out. Since they’re all answering these
questions, we thought it might be fun to submit the same questionnaire
to you. First question, what's your alias?

Meyer: Russ. Meyers.
Velvet Hammer: What astrological sign are you?

Aries, same as Hitler.

Oakland, California.

How tall are you?
Russ Meyer:
6'1".
Velvet Hammer:
Weight?
Russ Meyer:
I think about 195. I do a lot of exercise, lifting weights, I’m
really solid. I can leave the light on all night.
Velvet Hammer:
How do you like your ladies? Measurements--bust, waist, hips?
Russ Meyer:
All of the women in my films are bosomy and also outrageously abundant.
That’s the main angle in regards to my films. And the rest goes
along with the package. You get a girl built like that, she’s so
completely out of proportion, it becomes a cartoon! That’s what
I’ve done and made my fortune with, and wives and girlfriends and
so forth, because that’s the way they were built. It seems that
I have the taste of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people around
the world.
Velvet Hammer:
What hair color do you prefer?
Russ Meyer: I
have no preference.
Velvet Hammer:
Eye color also no preference?
Russ Meyer:
I just like people that are put up in a theatrical way. I like women
to really lay it on, as far as their make-up is concerned.
Velvet Hammer:
What is the one make-up item you cannot stand a woman without?
Russ Meyer:
Deodorant. (laughter)
