Anton LaVey Personality Profile
Alias: Have a whole page of them, Hugo Zorilla, Snead Hearn....
Sign: Aries
Birthplace: Chicago, Illinois, right in the heart of prohibition, conceived at the time of the St. Valentine Massacre.
Height: 6 feet even
Weight: 180 lbs.
Hair Color: blue black, freaky among the W.A.S.Ps like something that came out of a crypt.
Eye Color: ranges from amber to yellow.
Beauty Secret: Bearing. I’ve been strongly influenced by the people I’ve worked with. Juan Belmonte, the matador, comes to mind. Belmonte was a grotesque little man, but when he entered the arena, people would go crazy! He was a master. Carraciola, the race car driver. Houdini. You could be tall, stout, skinny, it doesn’t matter, it’s a presence. Edward G. Robinson, Bogart. I think of these people and I sort of draw myself up and think okay, I can lick the world! That’s the kind of thing that drives a person after they’re dead, and the spirit absolutely refuses to let go. It’s amazing what the spirit can do for the flesh. Dreamboat: There is no real idol or anyone in the public eye now that I know of. I’ve always been satisfied with women that I’ve known. I’ve been really spoiled. You talk about the luck factor, I’ve been at the right place at the right time, because as it turns out, the women I’m attracted to are attracted to me. They have fallen into a type of sorts — vivaciousness, innocence, exuberance, a quality that would be soft and yielding, but at the same time with spunk brashness. The moxie to get things done. Some of my disciples are so moody, so much a product of romance, they can’t type, they can’t drive. I don’t want someone who’s dour or “head in the clouds” ditzy. The ideal woman to me would be the gun-toting moll. Someone who is true blue and ready to face the world. Open to ideas and suggestion, not stubborn and closed minded. You three women here tonight are all the type I would find very easy to get along with, no reservation.

Dish: That’s the toughest question! Let’s see, a filet, charred rare, maybe with a bacon strip wrapped around it, with sliced fresh beefsteak tomatoes, baked potato with maybe bacon bits and butter, and something simple like green peas or string beans, or maybe have the potatoes scalloped. A leg of lamb or roast turkey with dressing and cranberry sauce with yams. Oh boy! Or baked ham with brown sugar and the pineapple and the cherry. I’m pretty flexible with and food. Even if it’s a great hamburger with those really great steak fries. I like a taco. I love pizza. My favorite pizza is Hawaiian pizza.

Poison: I don’t drink much anymore, because it’s supposedly not good for me. I still have gallons of it around though. I smell the cork and do a lot of wishing. You give me a period of time in my life and I’ll tell you what I was drinking. I was drinking bourbon in the burly houses.

Band: Harry Owens and his Royal Hawaiians, Guy Lombardo — but my favorite bands would be in the pit of a burly show. As far as modern music I’m all for bands doing things for the cause of Satanism: Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, the Reverend Horton Heat. I’m as supportive as I can get with these people.
